Blech! Sorry to hear Moody's screwed you on your order. Well, I probably won't be going back there again, anyway, so this just solidified my decision. Between handing us a check before we were done ordering (there MAY have been more drinks, you know), taking away tables rudely as the party died down, and then this, I think it will be my final Moody's birthday outing. Besides, I'll be living in the burbs come next year's birthday.

With both you and fava_bean being gluten-free now, I'm more more apt to take your treatment at restaurants into consideration. I think if more people were aware of the complications that gluten-free eating causes for one's social life, they'd be MUCH more sensitive and accommodating. I've been floored by some of the stuff I've heard from you two so far. If it were that damn peanut allergy, people would take it much more seriously. But gluten gets some kind of "it's not that big a deal" attitude. Strange.
